Who Are We?
The Metal Benders
Maxime and Oria,
We are two modern nomads who had been travelling for years. It was in a beautiful scenery of European nature where we met and fell in love and started our way, exploring the world together. From reef waters, to the peaks of the Himalayas and the desert of India, creation had accompanied us. In an attempt to grow roots we're reaching out to social media and have created this platform to share our art, to share ourselves. We appreciate each person that supports us and our art. Our Materials
We use genuine gemstones and fossils collected while travelling around the world. We do not deal with fake stones, so you can be assured you get what you have paid for. We try as much as we can to find ethically sourced gems, directly from the miners or locals if possible.
We use 925 Silver and 18k\22k Gold for our soldering jewelleries.
The wires we use are either copper, alpaca aka german silver, or silver 925. It is detailled in each piece's description.
A Life of Travel
Being on the road is not always easy, especially because we like to craft and have all our tools and materials with us. So when it comes to working we sometimes find ourselves in situations which prevent us from doing so smoothly. Sometimes we find ourselves in places with bad infrastructure, for example lack of internet, electricity or postal system. Whether you're a friend, a costumer or just a by passer, we ask for your patience when it comes to communication and sending parcels. Thanks for the understanding.
